Buena Impresora doméstica
Una impresora laser, monocromo, sencilla pero muy fiable. Llevamos un mes con ella y nada que objetar. Ni un solo fallo. El toner que lleva de origen da para unas 1000 copias. Es perfecta para uso doméstico sin grandes exigencias de impresión. Al ser laser, te olvidas del problema de secado de la tinta que afecta a las de inyeccion cuando se se imprime poco. La funciones de escaneado tambien funcionan bien. En general, muy satisfechos con la compra.

Quick, Neat, Clean - Perfect for the Home Office
I bought the Brother DCP1610W after my previous inkjet all-in-one died after a couple of years of good service. I was looking for reasonable price, great user reviews and fair priced consumables and the DCP1610W cam out on top of all of my research.. Really enjoying the printer, even though i'm using more than original intended through forced Covid-19 working from home.

Funcional.asequible y coste de manto.asumible.
Buscaba una impresora para uso domestico , fotocopias niños, oposición, casa....y se ajusto al precio y el costo de consumibles era asumible, la maquina tiene wifi, se puede imprimir a doble cara.

Buena funcionalidades, poca compatibilidad con sistema iOs por no decir que nula.
A mejorar y mucho la conectividad wifi. De desconecta mucho y al final la conecto por cable. A destacar la buena funcionalidad, no hay atasco de papel, cartuchos cunden mucho y económicos.
Pone que es compatible para imprimir desde el móvil pero yo todavía nonlo he conseguido.

Efectividad y sencillez
La calidad de las impresiones es excelente, uso el wifi todo el rato y eso lo hace muy cómodo. La configuración es relativamente sencilla, incluso sin ponerte a leer las instrucciones. Es compacta, cómoda y sencilla. Todavía no he tenido que cambiar el toner, pero me resultó sencillo, colocar todo en la instalación. Una de las cosas que más valoro es el servicio post venta, pues tienen un teléfono gratuito, donde en un momento dado te pueden ayudar con lo que necesites.

Good printer ... but exposed paper tray why?
I've had laser printers before and this replaced one.
Setup was fairly painless, but switching it on wasn't obvious. The quick setup leaflet was for a different version of this printer. The on/off button is to the left of the stop/exit button in the middle of a number of buttons on the panel, so it is not user friendly. It should be in a different location or a standalone button.
Printing is very good and quick, far faster than my previous printers, and the quality is very good.
Duplex printing is very important and whilst it isn't automatic with this printer, it prints the even set of pages and then prompts to place the printed pages back into the paper tray and then completes the printing of the odd pages. So this is very good.
There is one major issue though, the paper tray is exposed and extends 140mm in front of the printer. So the total footprint of the printer is increased. What this means is that the exposed paper will accumulate with dust and general detritus or paper will need to be inserted when required for printing. What we want is paper tray that can be loaded with paper and left.
Why for the life of me would anyone design and sell a machine like this in 2019, it is a design fault and I can see myself replacing it with something else in the future.
Apart from the paper tray issue the printer is very good.

I have never owned a laser printer before let alone a wireless printer and after reading many reviews of problems,I was very apprehensive about setting it up.
Following the instructions provided it took only 40 mins from unpacking to printing tmy first letter wirelessly (Is there such a word) with brilliant results,this was via a laptop on Windows 10.
Being someone that technology has passed by I reckon that if I can do this so can anyone with only a basic knowledge of computers.

Office quality printer for a good price
I bought this as a home use for printing personal documents and emergency printing at home, averaging maybe a few pages a week. The main reason for going laser is because the cartridges last longer. I am also using a multi-layered shelf at home so having a printer/scanner in a single device helps me save shelf space.
Printing quality of this printer was great -- comparable with those larger printers that are used in office. But compared to most other home printers, the Brother DCP-1610W isn't small either. When I was buying the printer I didn't consider wireless as an important functionality as I used to have bad experience with wireless other printers I had in the past. But technology has changed and the wireless on this printer is fast and stable. Now I find wireless printing a big plus that keeps my room tidy.
